New Brazilian Headquarters Opens in DG

With a large Brazilian community linked to the footwear and leather industries, Dongguan has started creating a business complex that will provide services to support trade and economic relations between Brazil and China. Largely funded by the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce, the first phase of the project, called the Headquarter of CBCDE (the Brazil-China Chamber for Economic Development) & South America World Trade Center, opened on December 8 in Liaobu in the presence of Brazilian and Chinese leaders. It is expected to house 200 companies in international customs and legal advisory services, product suppliers and logistics solutions, as well as, representative offices of Brazilian and Chinese companies. In addition to the offices, a luxury hotel, conference center, exhibition area and 30,000 square meter shopping mall are planned.
