100 Years of ANZAC

04_15_Scene_In Brief_100 Years of ANZACMarking the 100 year anniversary and honoring the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula during WWI. The day, which come on Saturday, April 25 will be commemorated with a dawn service by the Guangzhou consulates at the Shangri-La Hotel; In Dongguan, Murray’s Irish Pub will have a party with Aussie sausage, music and football. In Houjie, Irene’s Bar will hold an ANZAC Day Service with assembling at 11 a.m., luncheon at 12:15 and the traditional Collingwood v Essendon  AFL match.
